Nashville, TN – The Nashville Sounds begin the month of May at home with a six-game series against the Norfolk Tides, an affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.

The Tides are coming to Nashville for the first time since winning the Triple-A championship in 2023 and feature several of baseball's best prospects.

The homestand also includes three giveaways: Fox 17 Friday Fireworks and API Heritage Night.

Below are the celebrations and promotions for the inaugural series.

Tuesday, April 30 – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

6:35 p.m. | Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Peanut Free Night presented by Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center – An annual tradition returns to First Horizon Park so those with nut allergies can enjoy a night in Hit City worry-free.

First Horizon Park and the Nashville Sounds Grounds Crew, winners of the Tennessee Turfgrass Association's 2023 Professional Sports Field of the Year award, will be honored during an on-field ceremony prior to the game.



Tito's Tail Waggin' Tuesday – It's the first Tito's Tail Waggin' Tuesday of the season! Bring your favorite four-legged friend to First Horizon Park. Tickets start at $40.00 ($35.00 for people; $5.00 for dogs). Proceeds from all dog tickets benefit Comfort Connections. Limit one dog per person. Please note that all dogs must enter through the right field gate on Rep. John Lewis Way. The Vanderbilt Health Picinic Place is reserved for all dogs and owners in attendance. All dog owners must sign a waiver and provide proof of an updated rabies vaccination.

Wednesday, May 1st – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

6:35 p.m. | Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

40-ounce Sounds logo tumbler giveaway presented by First Horizon (the first 1,000 fans).

Halfway through Halloween – Hit City is haunted as the ghosts and goblins come for a crazy night of trick-or-treating with your favorite fan hosts!

Winning Wednesday presented by Pepsi – The first 500 fans in the stadium are invited to play music bingo during the game. All bingo boards have a coupon that can be redeemed at the concession stand for a small Pepsi fountain lemonade. Winning bingo boards can be turned into the music bingo winning table behind section 113 while supplies last. Prizes include tickets, merchandise and gift cards from local Nashville businesses. All fans will have the opportunity to round the bases after the game if the Sounds win.

Kroger Wednesday – Fans can purchase four (4) Select Section tickets, four (4) hot dogs (4) and four (4) Pepsi Fountain sodas for just $44.00. Kroger Wednesday tickets must be purchased at the Nashville Sounds Ticket Office with proof of the Kroger mobile app.



Thursday, May 2 – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

6:35 p.m. | Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Throwback Thursday presented by Budweiser – The Sounds will wear retro uniforms to commemorate the team's original uniform style from 1978. Fans can purchase Pepsi soda and Budweiser products at a discounted price.

Friday, May 3 – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

6:35 p.m. | Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

API Heritage Night – It’s the Year of the Dragon! Join the sounds on an evening dedicated to celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander culture. A special ticket is available that includes your ticket and an exclusive Year of the Dragon/Sounds t-shirt.

Nashville Brewskis – Before they were the Milwaukee Brewers, they were the Nashville Brewskis. The Sounds will transform into the Brewskis, wearing powder blue jerseys and hats reminiscent of their major league affiliate. Brewskis items can be purchased in person or online at the Sounds Pro Shop.

Saturday, May 4 – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

6:35 p.m. | Gates open at 5:15 p.m.

Johnny & George T-Shirt Competition (first 1,000 fans, sizes Adult M and Adult XL).

Derby Day – And the horses are running because the Hit City Derby is underway! Put on your fascinator and come to First Horizon Park for a special celebration.

Hit City Saturday – Fans can enjoy pregame music under the guitar scoreboard with Waylon Hanel from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. The Sounds will also wear their Hit City jerseys on Saturdays throughout the season.

Sunday, May 5 – Nashville Sounds vs. Norfolk Tides

2:05 p.m. | Gates open at 1:00 p.m.

Mini Safe competition presented by First Horizon (the first 1,000 fans).

Booster’s Birthday presented by Nothing Bundt Cakes – Celebrate Booster’s birthday with special appearances from other area mascots. Booster's Buddies members can redeem their invitation at checkout for a ticket to the game.

Early Mother’s Day Celebration – It’s never too early to give Mom a day at the ballpark! All mothers are invited to walk around the bases after the game and play catch with the children on the field. The first 100 mothers to enter home plate will receive flowers. You can purchase discounted tickets for Sunday's game here.





Pre-game autograph signings from select Sounds players from 1:10 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at third base near Section 107.

Pre-game musical performance by DJ SP under the guitar scoreboard.

Youth Sports Day pregame parade at 1:15 a.m. presented by Delta Dental of Tennessee.

Postgame Kids Round the Bases presented by First Horizon.


Seniors and military families can benefit from a $2.00 discount on single game admission prices at First Horizon Park. Offer valid for four (4) tickets per ID (Seniors ages 55 and older and an official military ID are required at the ticket counter.) Depending on availablity; no telephone orders.
